Computation of the subsurface scattering effect in semi-infinite planes using the bidirectional reflectance distribution function technique developed by Henrik Wann Jensen.

  • Offline Rendering of the scene using a raytracer
  • custom levels of anti-aliasing and jitter
  • Two Component lighting equation (diffusion approximation + single scattering term)
  • Faster than Montecarlo integration
